The state-approved Kneipp health resort  Saalhausen and its neighbouring villages is one of the most beautiful and densely wooded areas in NRW and is located in the beautiful Sauerland region.

Half-timbered houses and old trees give the village with its approx. 1,800 inhabitants its typical character. In the newly designed "TalVITAL-Kurpark", both young and old can enjoy themselves.
The varied leisure activities on offer range from sporting activities such as hiking or cycling to tranquil fishing. The natural adventure pool is a great place to cool off on hot days.
